sean........ i have a td on the drive ...collect and its yours ...complete with turbo ...changed mine for a tdi so no use for it ...it smoked but ran ,,,,but i never really ran it .... bought the 90 and changed it straight away ...free to anyone who wants to collect it ...hampshire

the first pic is off a old style 2.5 the second is off a 200 tdi ...i only know this as i just converted to a 200 ...i had to cut the plug off fit spades and conect ...the little wire gets discarded

hahahahaahh spoke to local landrover garage .... apparently .. transfer box will not turn both props if its of the ground ...central diff only turns the easiest wheel... they said put it on the ground where it belongs ...if you have all transfer gears ..ie high low diff lock ....IT WORKS !! so...

hi .... i think we have narrowed the vibration thing down to ...2 buckled wheels .... the uj`s i have just replaced and refurbed the handbrake so that works fine .... the disconcerting thing was that the rear prop didnt turn in normal drive ..... so was wondering about the transfer box ...yes it...

Hi all ..... rebuilding 86 90 ..i`ve done loads ...200tdi engine , replaced loads bushes swivels ect ect ect ...seems never ending .... to find a big vibration as driving ...jacked and propped the landy in the air ... in normal high , only the front prop turned ..in low the same .. in diff lock...

i`ve just finished the same coversion on my 90 .... i`d fit the conversion exhaust whilst the engine is out ...its a pain afterwards

cheers ..they are on the ever increasing list to check ....weekend and daylight all i need now .... but as thislandy goes i`ll expect to do this list and then start another before it finally stops fighting

the next set of probs were found to be ..... last owner was a mechanical moron ! with 2 left hands !!!!! 1- neither track-rods were tight ...infact bloody loose ! 2- 2no hanging wheel bearings 1no needing adjustment. 3-1no knackered steering swivel. 4-2 no knackered uj`s 5-1no under...

thanks all .... only drove it up the road to find next set of probs ... much as i thought .. the old girl continues to kick scream and fight me ! .. another weekend of laying in the crap comming up then . i just hope it more fun driving it than fixing it !!!!!!!

Hi , bought my 90 without knowing to much about them .... its got all the off road stuff on it ... bought it as a non running turbo . Then set about it ... now its got a great 200tdi engine , got all those mods and probs finished off today , so took it down the road for the first spin ! great...

Hi there , anyone any ideas about my suspension ? it will work perfectly for months then drop to the stops ..be like that a while ....then presto ! it works perfectly again ...any ideas ? PLEASE
