No it's not turning over badly, but when I first put the new battery on the other day, it fired straight away. But the next morning same old story. I will try that, thanks.

Thanks, sorry you have the same problem, but glad i'm not alone. Just been told a likely cause is an earth lead corroding "Somewhere", causing loss of amps to the starter so although it turns, it's not enough Umph! I love it when they can be specific and use all the technical jargon! Ian.
