It is not possible to fit the item incorrectly, thanks for that comment but I know how to fit a uj, and yes they do just give up if faulty 3o years of farming have taught me that, this item was a joke it fractured through poor casting, the prop is fine. Glad to have such supportive forum members

replaced the uj no prob, took about an hour to change and refit, developed a vibration so I figures it is out of balance because I didn't tippex it, no I was wrong everything was fine At first) and I wasn't worried much because I decided to change the whole prop, I was driving along wondering...

I have removed the front prop not the rear, why is it still knocking/ clicking on gear change?

thanks, took it off last night put into diff lock now I have a click on clutch on clutch off, plus is the rear diff locked in the center for now?. hoping to sort it, should i be thinking of a new tranfer box or should I recondition it?

I need to replace my uj bearings on the front prop gearbox end. I am thinking of doing it by only removing the broken end, has anyone tried this or got any objections?:confused:
