    2nd low is what i thought, what i use when im off road just crossing fords, not too deep. i was just thinking more along the lines as if im going down a flooded road, it seems like 2nd low is bit slow. but thats why i was asking anyway, thanks for your help

    Hi, i have a southdown snorkel on my discovery 300tdi which i recently fitted, seems to be water tight but what should i do about the holes in the airbox? seems stupid for them to be there if im using a snorkel! Am i right in sealing them all up? Thanks, James
