Just an update. Thanks to everybody and their respective replys and your brilliant how to's. The fuel pump was out of time a fair bit. Followed instructions from this website and help from my mate Alan who knows his way around these beasts (Thanks Alan).

Didn't test selanoid wiring etc, **** with electrics anyway. Am a newbie and tried to do it myself but it didnt work. Maybe need my son on that one mate. Thanks.

Sorry guys just returned from work. Thanks for the replys. I did all of above but still no luck. Prob could be fuel but i loosed all fuel lines at engine end and fuel was coming out? As a said am at wits end cause need car for work (am in the wifes at moment, not for long!!). Will gladly pay...

Am sure that is a tyre pressure indicator think ive seen one on an MGTF on the MG forum. Hope that helps. You could try asking them?
