im an instructor at my local air training corps sqn. was asked if i would take my landie on exercise with them, i have to make a few alterations but there just wiring issues, i.e. being able to kill the break lights (no problem there) just wasnt sure exactly where the convoy light gets mounted...

ye if i push the yellow lever down it engages 4wd, and when i pull the red lever bak into low range, the yellow lever pops bak up. i figured that it was in 2wd then??

ill have to look into it then, its always been like that since i bought it, thought it was a bit strange at first but figured it was how it was supposed to b :confused:

on my s3 i can have 4wd in high range only. 2wd i can have high or low range

i have a convoy light to mount onto my land rover and realised, i dont no exactly where and how it is fitted, i understand that it has 2 shine onto the diff. was just wondering if anyone who has one could take some pics for me to assist me with the installation thanks :)

u cant get 4wd low range, when u pull the lever back into low range, it will dissengage from 4wd

i drive a s3 88' soft top and am wanting to put a roof rack on it. the only ways i can think of doing this are to fit it to an external roll cage (which i can not afford at the mo) or to make holes in my canvas. i was just wondering if anyone here had done it and any tips on how i should go...
