hi ian jones thank you for the reply if cleaning the maf sensor does not work how much was your maf sensor. I am sure you can appreciate how frustrated this problem is making me if your freelander has done the same. Rich.

just disconnected the maf sensor and ran the engine obviously diagnostics light stayed on but engine idling a lot smoother when reconnected still smoother could this just be a fluke or could disconnecting the maf have cleared any gunk on the connectors i am gonna get the covers back on and take...

hi again all im after some side steps and wheel spacers for my freelander and i can only find very limited freelander accessories does anyone have any good links they could post here thanks in anticipation :) :)

interior light works on door switch when the switch on the light is set in the middle you could have a broken switch in the door shut or it could be just sticky try working it in and out a few times:) :)

not moaning at all im glad of all the advice i get on here from you guys and no matter how much trouble the car gives me i just cant help liking it for some reason (is that a bad thing lol):) :)

Do you mean the one with pipe one end and nothing the other if so thought this was a vacum filter :confused:

thanks for posting is the crankcase breather filter the small blue cylinder shaped one under the engine cover?? Is this also known as the egr filter?
