Hi there,does anybody have a balljoint removal/refitting tool ,i would be happy to pay rental and postage,cheers cliff

i tried a set of hub centric rings and they worked a treat

that could be my problem,i fitted 18" wheels of a newer range rover and thats when the vibration started,i'll give the hub adaptors a try and check the prop shaft as well cheers cliff

this might sound stupid but what and where are my simpsons

has anyone got any idea what could be causingmy p38 to vibrate between 50&60mph,i've had the wheels rebalanced and that got rid of the vibration through the steering wheel but you still get vibration through the seat and accelerator,any ideas would be most appreciated,cheers cliff

your best bet is to get it checked on a computer,i had the same problem and it turned out to be the compressor on my one but it could be a ride height sensor or a leak.you can get a repair kit for the compressor which works out a lot cheaper and you can buy an eas cable and soft ware cheaply of...

you can buy the complete manuals on disk from e-bay for a couple of quid

i had a similar problem last week ,i drove it to my local landy garage where he checked the complete suspension and it turned out to be the compressor,not a cheap fix but every thing is fine now.i have found repair kits for the compressor that make the job a hell of a lot cheaper,good luck

i bought my 1995 4.6 hse 6 weeks ago and am totally hooked,i don't care what the cost of fuel or repairs will be i love my bit of class

problem solved,turns out the air compressor failed,not a cheap fix.does anyone know if the compressor can be fixed as it would be handy to have a spare one just in case
