HI, my classic tdi has turbo in at just under 2000 then is pulling to 3000 then looses boost and there is a faint rattle accompanying the power loss. Anyon eany ideas? cheers mike

Check water filler with cap of while engine running. Tickover it should dribble, rev and it should squirt.(make sure engine's not hot before you try this!) This should clarify something about water circulation Cheers

thanks rewmer, useful stuff. I managed to fix the heater and the rear demist and the rear wiper, but this keeps blowing fuses, again the relay I think. Does anyone know the location of the relay for the electric mirrors and the rear wiper? cheers undark:) :)

Hi again, I have discovered serious rot from the plate the rear lower door fixes to, to the near by body mountings. Weldiing a full steel plate under seems the only option. Has anyone else had to cure this rotten problem on a classic before?- your comments welcome! cheers mikeo
