Thanks chaps, i had read somewhere they use the same chassis, just got the impression more people used discoverys. As for a defender, i've only got 1800 quid and figured i'd get more for my money with a disco or range.

Hi, new to this forum and off roading for that matter! I've always fancied a land rover and have some cash to splash! Just wanted to know views on which has the best off road ability, discovery 1 or range rover classic? Whichever i get i will be fitting suspension upgrades etc... thanks :D
