By converted, did you mean swapping for a FL2 or did you swap the prop shaft out for a modified Haldex driven rear diff and get rid of that pesky VCU?

Thank you for your prompt reply. Yes. It sometimes says the steering column is locked but if I switch off and switch on the ignition again, it disappears. My key fob battery has never been changed as well. Do you have any recommendations for a phone based diagnostic tool? I've heard of IIDTool...

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but did you get this issue resolved? Would changing the key fob batteries help eliminate this?
