    Cheers for the links. Correct me if I'm wrong, the connector harness is basically to connect the two different plugs up? The one I've bought seems to have the correct harness connector to plug and play?

    Where would the brake light switch be located on a freelander 1? (56plate) Got recommended this https://www.lrdirect.com/LR032956-Switch-Stop-Light/ to clear traction control and Hill descent control warning lights but can not see/locate under dash. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    My bad, it's a 1951cc. Did have a look under the dash where the steering column is, the link you sent earlier looks like the same part

    Thanks for the replies. It's a cheap part to start with. Will remove old one a double check the part number.

    Thanks for the info, grumpygel. You wouldn't happen to know of a direct link I can purchase one of these switches from, as I have no idea what they look like, or where to start looking?

    Got a couple of fault lights which keep intermittently popping up on the dash. They only seem to come on when braking, but every now and then. On the temperature gauge, there's a tyre symbol with TC and on the fuel gauge these a symbol of a car going downhill with an ! next to it. When lights...
