hello all, anyone got a diagram of the door lock mechanism on a disco 2. had the door card off today and can feel the piece of metal rod that turns when you turn the key in the lock. not sure how it attaches to the lock mechanism to open the car. don't even know if its broken or just come...

think the neighbours think ive gone mad standing on the back of my truck in the street... anyhow.. tried both remote keys, the light comes on when you press either but to no avail.. little red light is flashing at me on the dash as if its taking the P*ss... I take it if I force entry I can stop...

Hi Neilly, fortunately I have a spare key, unfortunately that didn't work either !!! my nice little red light is flashing as normal when locked.. will have a look at that link...
