the new one is 64mm and old one is 78mm i thought about moving the columb if i couldnt find a better solution just wish i could get a new aluminium joint

nope it is to short with everything fully extended and bolts through three of the holes the last bit that goes onto the steering box splines only goes on 5mm so i cant get the final bolt in. if i could find out what the aluminium one came off of i could get a new one of those and it would all work

hi was out in my 87 110 and the lower steering joint turned on the shaft and knackered the splines no probs i thought ill just buy a new one and chuck it on only when i got the part from paddocks its about 1 cm shorted and made of steel where as the one on there was aluminium so now everything...

Do I need to fit the 300 gearbox cross member and is it easy to work out where this goes or are the mounts for an lr77 the same ?

Ok and take the position from gearbox mounts which cross member disco or defender and does any one know how much the engine mounts need to move(and which way) or do most people offer it up then weld? Thanks for the help rob
