Can you fit a P38 steering wheel to a late classic?

My hard dash had that. it wasn't too bad, i got a head unit with 6 pre-amped outputs, made up an adapter and ran them in to the factory loom then plugged a new amp in the boot, fitted all new speekers as the origionals were ruined and it sounded pretty good. I'd still have it if an idiot hadn't...

Can you fit a P38 steering wheel to a late classic?

My current softdash had a fairly standard clarion stereo with 6 disc changer and sub in the boot. It had ISO plugs on it so bunging in a sony CD/MP3 replacement just worked. My previous hard dash had a 4 channel amp in the boot, sub volume control on the dash, etc which was a royal pain! As the...

Can you fit a P38 steering wheel to a late classic?

Hello all, Long time no visit! I need to have the leather on my steering wheel re-stitched so was looking about for a replacement. P38 wheels seem to be really cheap on ebay so I was wondering if they used the same boss as the soft dash? As they use the same rotary coupler i was also thinking i...

    Irritating missfire / idling problem

If there are any mobile mechanics on here in East London that fancy waving their magic spanner over this tomorrow afternoon / friday let me know. Most of my tools are 160 miles away and i don't fancy any of the local garages.

    Irritating missfire / idling problem

It had new rockers from RPI fitted when the engine was rebuilt so I was clutching at straws that it was something quick / easy to sort before i started taking the top of the engine apart.

    Irritating missfire / idling problem

Hi boys and girls, This has been driving me nuts since the weekend so now is time to ask for some help! I have a 1994 Range Rover LSE with a 4.6 engine fitted. It was rebuilt about 7000 miles ago. The problem is that it sounds like this: VIDEO0445.mp4 video by terryg1982 - Photobucket If i...

I Just bought a Range Rover and it has a problem :(

Sounds like I need to read HBOL when i get in and see how to go about changing the filter. It sounds like it's alot more involved than changing the engine oil. Thanks for the advice.

I Just bought a Range Rover and it has a problem :(

I have been reading around the forums on here and googling the web to see if I can find a recomended gearbox oil. There seem to be lots of different opinions. Is there a "best" type of oil to use with my problem in mind or just whatever my local motorfactor has in stock?

I Just bought a Range Rover and it has a problem :(

I assumed it was smoke as it is always there no matter how long the car has been running for. It has a new MOT so it can't be that bad. 2 weeks of ownership and 1500 miles, despite these niggly faults it goes like a tank!

I Just bought a Range Rover and it has a problem :(

oh nuts, I was hoping it was something i could fix with a spanner. Never mind, ebay bargains always seem to come with a sting in the tail. Do you have any idea what I could expect to pay for a "known good" box? Is adjusting an LPG kit something for a proper garage?

I Just bought a Range Rover and it has a problem :(

Hi all, I have just bought my first "landy". I thought i may as well go for something comfy that will annoy the eco-nuts and fairly cheap (so i don't have to worry about things like washing it). I have bought a 1990 Range Rover Vogue SE with an LPG kit on it. It starts and runs brilliantly but...
