Thanks Simon. I tend to think its more serious, perhaps the slave cylinder is knackered as when you hold the pedal down while waiting for traffic lights to change ect, its impossible to take it out of gear and I have to stall the engine before I can disengage, then when I pull up the pedal it...

Hi I'm new to the site and need some help. bought a freelander yesterday and find after driving a couple of miles I cant get it out of gear and the clutch pedal is practically down to the floor, when I pump it a few times it goes back to normal, any help really appreciated. Jack.

Hi, I'm new to Landrovers, bought a 2003 Freelander yesterday and had to bring it back to the dealer today, clutch very heavy to operate and find it impossible to change gear, any suggestions very welcome. Thanks....Jack
