    Diffs

I have been reliably informed that a rrc diff is the same ratio as the one in the defender. I have a 90 which i have just blown the diff on, i can easily get a rrc diff, i just wondered if it would fit!

    Economy

That is the average, more often then not it is 35+ but have had it to 45 on a long run. No water in it at all, i live in norfolk but am at uni in essex so it gets blasted along the A12 and A14 regularly, that has seemed to help the consumption!

    Economy

You may not believe me but UNLESS the magic faries have been filling up my fuel tank then im afraid that 40MPG is accurate. Gone through the figures many times to make sure and they are accurate!!!

Cant beat an engel, put 12 ottles of beer inone morning, turned it to half way on the dial and within 4 hours, there was a frozen mass of beer and broken glass in the bottom of the fridge, not bad at all for a fridge!!

water pump + labour how much?

On a 300tdi, it is a bit harder than on a sootdi. On the 300 you need to remove the powersteering pump pulley to get enough clerance to take the pump out. Not hard to do, took me an hour start to finish, use lots pf penetrating oil ond make sure you have a good 10mm socket! :D

    Another tyre thread

Kumhos are great! very stable on road even in the wet. They run quiet too whichy was a suprise. They are good in mud, had them up to the top of the wheels in some clay on the farm and they kept on gripping:eek:

    Another tyre thread

I plan to use them on and off road Ive heard from a few of my mates that have them theat they are very good in the wet on road. They will get a lot of stick off road as i work on a farm and am always 'working' in the mud ;) :D
