Hi man yes looks like it. The bolt that's sticking out of the block has snapped and the front bearing has fell out. How will I get the bearing case out of the block? Cheers for the reply man✌️

This is the first v8 I have owned so am just getting used to these engines now. What would be needed to tune the 4.0 v8 or is it better to be kept standard?

Hi guys sorry haven't been replying works been mad busy. I'm just getting into taking engines apart and stuff like that I'm good with anything else tho. I think I'm going to keep my v8 and buy a defender 90 aswell. Why can't the v8 be tuned?

Cheers Peter I do love the v8 noise I replaced the centre box with a straight pipe to open it up a bit is that safe to do? Plus how do I get the rocker cover off an what's does the separator look like and how will I tell if it's broken cheers man

Cheers for the reply guys. It's got an lpg system installed with a slung under tank it was there when I bought it. Reason why I want to change from a v8 to deasil is becouse its eating oil like no tommorow and keep getting bad feeling about it as you hear loads of rumours about these engines...

just curious as when you see these big v8 muscle cars they seem to run them. i think ive asked a stupid question hehe. am still new to the v8 world as im used to cars with turbos and boost gauges so ive never had a v8 non turbo
