sorry to jump in on this thread, This metal pipe is it the one that joins up to the water pump hose? if so how far should it go up to wards the pump? as I have just had an leak from a rubber hose just behind the bumper and goes to the pump had to make a one as nobody had seen that join there...

I have just had a look at my old lights and it looks like that you could just knock out the blanking plate and put a bulb holder in there but you would need a live feed to it, it would have to be a spade fitting on the blue line or soldered onto the red line.Hope this helps.;)

Hi I changed my back lights last month on my disco and this is how my lights were wired up, the wire that as been solded on to the top bulb was then scothbocked onto the live wire of the light in the bumper.All as worked will for the last 5 years.;)
