Thank you gents, all sorted, £20 for new UJ and new stainless nuts and bolts from AJD, no vice but managed to sort it with G clamp, two 19mm sockets, a big hammer and a half hour of labour.

Thanks for replies. I have removed prop, uj nearest handbrake is a lot newer and sound, rear uj wobbling like a good un. I have watched this- Removing a U Joint from a Drive Shaft: Replacing a Rear Axle U Joint | eHow.com , seems quite straightforward, any additional advice appreciated.

Hi all, I have noticed a clunking from the rear prop. Upon inspection there is about 5mm play in all ways to the uj connected to the axle. Question one - can the uj be replaced or will I need a new prop? Question two- Is it safe to remove and drive with two wheel drive for a short time...
