I'm having the gearbox AND transfer box replaced today,it started as a slight rattle last year and got worse and worse.It stops when the clutch is pressed, turned out to be the bearings in both boxes.Though I'm sure somone could tell me otherwise now I've bought the new(second hand 3months...

i went and got a another new one today,maybe i wont bother fitting it! if the electric is not cutting off to the switch would that be a short circuit somewhere?i cant see any difference to the wires since i started. thanks for the advice if i paid a mechanic to do all the work on the landrover...

fitted the new one took ten minutes,felt like spanner god until i switched the engine off and now it wont stop unless i pull the wire out the top!!start again tomorrow.bloody landrover only had it 2 months,i spend more time under it than in it.:confused:

i had a peugot with the seal gone on the throttle lever(common apparently)cost 70 to get it fixed from a diesel guy in wales.

hello there,i have a 110 and i've just noticed the fuel pump is leaking.on further investigation its coming from the blue washer thing with a wire connected to it,on the top.i think it could be the solenoid?can anyone advise me about it?do i need a new fuel pump or is it just a case of changing...
