I've just been on a trip to France in my 110 and have noticed that the steering is very loose over speeds of 50mph. There is some play in the steering wheel and the steering box is leaking. Am I guessing right that the steering box needs replacing. If so we'res the best place to buy one from,I...

Im thinking about fitting 25mm spring spacer blocks from Flatdog to my 110.Can anyone advise me if there are any problems if this is done and how easy are they to fit.

Oil is leaking onto rear disc.Have tried to fix a couple of times without any joy.Im going to replace the stub axle and see it that sorts this problem.Ive also replaced the axle breather valve which was badly blocked...

Thanks had a feeling it was a salisbury axle.Can anyone tell me the right part number for thge stub axle gasket...

Can any one let me know which rear axle is shown,Ive been told its off a Discovery 1.Ive got an oil leak and have ordered some gaskets for the stub axle but none fit.:confused:.

Also the Postive lead on battery seems to be getting warm and also moved on trying to start..

There is a clicking noise but nothing else,All leads to starter motor were cleaner before fitting starter motor,Could it be anyting to do with the Ignition?:confused:

Thanks for the advice will check for all of that,The engine is not turning over,It all seemed fine a couple of days again then it wouldnt start 1st thing in the morning but would start about 4 hours later,Then yesterday same again took for a run stopped engine for 5 minutes then it would not...

My 1984 110 fitted with a 300tdi engine just wont start,Have had starter motor re-conditioned fitted a new battery and checked and cleaned all the wires but still no joy,Can anyone give me any advice...:(
