Im thinking about fitting 25mm spring spacer blocks from Flatdog to my 110.Can anyone advise me if there are any problems if this is done and how easy are they to fit.
 
its a doggle mate, no mads required other than perhaps some longer bolts to fix the spring retension plates back onto the axles but i presume these would come with the kit?

Sometimes you might find the existing bolts are seized into the spring mounting brackets and as mine were rusted a fair bit they snapped.

Not a hard job though.
 
Doing springs is easy. Though i have never done modifications like that, i have removed, put back, sprayed, messed around with all 4 springs on my 90, never had any issues. Just be careful DO NOT round off the bolts on the retention plate, or you will have to either get a plasma cutter, or weld a bolt head on to the bolt itself, but that is a long shot.
If the bolts are rusty i recommend changing them. It should be easy enough.

I'd go with the one Gwyn Lewis sells:
SUSPENSION

Reason being they are recessed to the spring has a proper seat to seat in. The ones from Flatdog don't look to have this.

And importantly the fronts Gwyn Lewis ones have extra large holes to allow plenty of movement of the front shock, to avoid it fowling if you also increase axle travel. Remember the front shock sits inside the spring.

As for issues, you should see none. But what you may find is that you get cross axled easier. This isn't because you have less total travel, but you'll have less relative downward travel, because with the lift, the shocks will already be extended.

This is fine if you don't plan to off road loads, but you may find it a compromise.

Extended shocks will sort this, but as this will give you more travel, you might want to look at extended brake lines too. And more travel with a stock springs means they might fall out of the upper spring perches. So dislocation cones or longer springs might be needed.
