Drive shaft missing the abs reluctor ring, have one ordered so that will sort that out! Thanks so much for the help really appreciate it!

New drive shaft arrived finally got a chance to put it on along with the ird etc, finally back up and running it's running perfectly. Thanks so much for the help! The three amber warning lights are coming on I assume i have left something unconnected or pulled on the abs sensor? Any ideas?

Had pull out the ird anyway to get the sheared bit of the drive shaft out anyway so all good Still can't get my head around why the drive to the nearside was stopped from the offside prop snapping... What oil does the ird take? I have the old stuff I drained out still but after going...

Will replace the drive shaft ASAP and hopefully that will be everything sorted out with it for another while fingers crossed! Thanks for the offer of the drive shaft but I'm in Ireland lol! Will report back and let you guys know how I get on

Can't seem to find any other issues, I don't understand how one snapped drive shaft would cause complete loss of drive to both front wheels - the rear prop is removed

Should the inner and outer splines on the ird move on sync?

From when I pulled the gearbox out I checked the splines in the gearbox and all seemed to be fine will check tomorrow again to be sure, The layshaft is that the shaft that goes from the inner splines to the planetary gears? Everything seems in order in the ird (from my very limited...

The inner and outer splines on the ird seem ok and the planetary gears in the ird seem hunky dory. Will have another look inside the gearbox and see if the inner and outer splines are intact. Thank you for all the help, beginning to learn a lot about freelanders!
