Hi all, isnt a relay just another switch turned on and off by another electrical circuit? If you know how to turn the switch on or off by conecting or unconecting wires you could take out the relay and do away with this part of the circuit. That should be easy to find using a volt meter...

Couldn't voltage measurements be taken to find the fault like the garage does? Instead of just fitting parts? I am only new to all this but thats looks like a expensive way of finding faults. james
