Well I am now swaying towards a Freelander.. HAHA I can stretch my money to 6000 and get a 06 2.0td4 with 50 60k on the clock Not a bad buy I think... Plus from checking buyer reviews the 06 seems to have less faults popping up and the reviews get better...:rofl:

Nah hardtop 90... Ive seen some with 260k on the clock so they must go on forever I've never had a car or a van always bikes so this will be my first!:5bcheers2:

Thanks good advice... I will have a look at some disco's but had my heart set on a landy.. Its the LEZ Rip off thing that makes it a bit hard to find what is acceptable... Plus if rust is the only problem then reliability isn't then... which is what attracted me too them in the first place...

Oh and yeah I'm a coded welder tig stick mig flux core inner shield now I a weld inspector...
