hi there I have a p38 diesel and need to get hold of the re sync tool to get the pump working again. Is there anyone out there who would possibly rent one to me for a day or so? I am in Chatham kent. Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi I have a 1989 90 I cannot seem to see where the wires come from that would connect to the centre diff lock switch on the transfer case. I can see the terminal that it connects to, however there is no wire anywhere! Please could some one let me know roughly where the wire should appear from so...

So are ther 50a F suffix discos out there? Sorry if I sound perdantic it is because I don't want to waste anybody's time . There is a landrover guy near to me who I am making a visit to on Monday and I want to know my options.

So mine is a suffix F I presume? That being the last number on the serial number on the casing. So if I find a disco box with a F suffix I coul be ok for an input shaft change over?

So could my input shaft be put into a disco lt77 version and fit correctly?

So let me get this straight The lt230 is completely interchangeable for my application with a choice of ratios. however the lt77 comes in different lengths? Or can the bell housing just be changed? Would the Input shaft be the correct length? Are the speedo drives all the same too?

Sorry for the dumbness off this. Would this setup on eBay be ok for me? Item number 351221208324 The bell housing looks a lot longer to me.

Well I have tried to locate the engine number to no avail! I have looked infront of the exhaust port and cannot see anything there. There is a flat section there but cannot make anything out. Any how I have removed the transfer case as this is making all sorts of noises and the gearbox too as...

Hi there was wondering if anyone could shed me some light. I have acquired a 1989 Defender 90 and was wondering which model it actually is? The log book states 90 4C SW DT Diesel 2495cc I am presuming it is the 200tdi Is this correct? Any help much appreciated.

I at present have a fault with I believe my transfer case! It all seems to work but has a grind in noise that sounds like something just miss meshing! You can only hear this from 45 mph plus. My question is, when I lifted the front wheel in the air I could freely spin it! The transfer case...

I believe that I have narrowed down my gearbox noise to the transfer case. My question is is the a particular code that I need for a 2004 td5 ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
