thrust baring on way out?

am in two minds at the moment were to sell or keep the disco.. its a 1993 200 tdi, 190,000 miles, grey in colour. its had a fair bit of welding in the past by previous owners, sills, boot floor, and other bits and bobs main mot problems will be welding ( pictures in previous post)...

bits are worth keeping, only getting older and harder to find. someoen will need them at somepoint

Hi mate, I managed to source one local today. Thanks for the help, pitty it wasn't closer. Might have been able to rob a few bits.

It looks sold part from those areas, someone has done sills and few other bits over the years. Am going to teach myself, probably don't have enough time before mot and I need it on the road, refuse to pay garage prices....

thanks for the replies, very helpfull. can anyone help me with the proper name for the area thats holed, its on the pillar? between front door and wing, right at bottom where it meets sill area.

my headlights have rust in them, mot time isnt far away and i think its a fail. looking for a set of d1, preface lift headlights. cheers
