it would appear that the fault is myself. after following all these directions carefully i have found that it is still very pressurised and throwing water out. and then i say some steam coming out the rear of the engine. I fear that the Head has gone...........again. oh joys

I have got the heater set to hot but it wont make any difference as i'v bypassed the matrix with a u bend in the engine bay because the heating just leeks all over the passenger foot well. the whole thing is getting hot all over. When running with the thermostat housing cap off it steams out...

Hi, i'm currently having problems bleeding my disco. I replaced the P Gasket, bled the system and then took it for a run. the top rad hose has a slight split in it so i taped it up and ordered a new one. I then went for a small drive to test everything was ok, tempreture guage said everything...

Just bled it now. Water levels are fine. Temperature gauge isn't back to normal but not going up as much as it did. Hopefully when the new rad top pipe comes it should be better. Just out of interest, and I'm gunna sound dumb now, but where is the temperature sensor located?

I did do this when i fittied the new p gasket yesterday, wouldnt hurt to do it again i suppose. I did wonder if the sender could be at fault?
