    WHat's the easiest way to remove the engine from a Disco 1?

    If the shell is going to be scrapped cut the front slam panel out with a 9" grinder and remove the engine, box and transfer out as one. The whole unit balances quite nicely on the rear engine lift ring.

    Just another thought are you loosing any water from your header tank? Could be the heater matrix leaking. But I would go with poor fittment of windscreen first.

    Yes the injector harness sounds favorite to me however it's worth while checking the Diesel fuel pressure regulator aswell which is located on the back drivers side of the cylinder head. Prone to leak and cause similar problems. HTH

    The actual manufactures specification is to use MTF94, but ATF will suffice. However the Dextron II is advised in TD5 R380's.
