Best place for new gear box

Did you check the condition of the splines on the output shaft whilst the T box was off, also rear balljoint and bushes can cause a clonk, did on mine and I could hardly feel any play in the ball joint when I replaced it.

Bugga, keep an eye on the oil level then just incase, esp on the way back, did they replace the flange ? disconnect the breather and blow through just incase its got blocked,kinked/crimped etc. I can have a look at it when you get back if you want. Glad your having fun and doing some lanes :)

    Shake rattle and roll

I used a company from Morecambe Cumbria way, driveline engineering/propshafts. good service. DC prop will be expensive, mine was fully greasable and bolted straight to existing t-box flange

    Shake rattle and roll

Does sound like the front prop, I had the same, have you driven it without the front prop just to make sure ? Some say remove the front camber corrected arms and go back to original with a wide angle prop, others say double cardon prop. I tried wide angle with the 3deg castor correction arms...

    Gatesgarth Pass, Cumbria. w/c 4/7/11

I think it also says thats its not suitable for soft roaders i.e something with no low range box, as some of the acsents and descents are quite steep with no room to gather speed for the ups.

Not the best place to start greenlaning and you need to apply for a permit 1st, look on the Lake District National Parks website for Byways and UCrs, but be aware some can be a bit tricky :) and there is not always a mobile phone signal
