    Alternative 12v to 10v dashboard reulator/stabiliser

I bought one on eBay. Electronic job. Crap crimped connectors, but otherwise does a good job. Similar to this.

    Underbody protection

Good work. Slow the rust down so much it's effectively stopped.

    Ex MOD registration.

You could get in touch with the military vehicle trust. They're officially recognised by the DVLA as vehicle inspectors and can get you the registration. Costs about £200 for non members.

Series 2 Which Carb to choose

    That's a smart move.
  5. W

    Air brakes

True for anything. But no reason to assume that the vehicle couldn't be fully legal after the modifications.

    Air brakes

Good practical points. But series ownership is very personal, so if OP wants air brakes, and can do the work/admin, so what?

    Headlights

Check the power in and out, see where it gets lost. Might just need a slight adjustment, or a blob of solder on a contact.

Series 2 Which Carb to choose

A Glencoyne ethanol modified zenith copy from eBay. Keeps it simple.

    Headlights

    It's the stalk.

    WTAF??

I do like a forward control. Efficient use of space.

    WTAF??

It's a double cab civilian forward control. With a nasty soa conversation. Not too wild.

My 101 won't start. Ignition key just gets a CLICK when turned.

I think so. Not much, but yes. But I thought the relay was somewhere on the inner wheel arch. Near the starter? Item 20.

Any photos of the interior as it is at the moment?

Either works for CV joints. Got to be EP90 for UJs.

    Classic Swivel ball Re-Chroming?

Funnily enough I'm using an aluminium enriched 2k epoxy mastic to fill the pits on the front axle of the 101. Unlike the ordinary series vehicles, the swivel balls can't be replaced, as they are welded onto the axle tube. The plan is to sand this lot back to smooth, and use one shot grease (CV...
