    If you can spare 50 quid buy this Sony CDX-GT450U CD/Mp3 Head Unit with Front USB and: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics .I fitted one and sony speakers ,got a good 60-70 full albums on an 8gb usb skick . Whack it onto USB device shuffle , sorts through 70 of your favorite albums and picks random songs...

    Could be to collect water or maybe there was a winch or some other furniture bolted on . It might also have been drilled to jack with a HiLift . Could stick twigs in for camoflage ;) .

    Whip off your rear prop shaft ;) . Unless you intend spending time off road ie. in mud,chuck the shaft int the boot and tape or safely stow the U lock thingy and re-screw the bolt back into the VCU .

    That's what I was thinking and there's no getting it off the paintwork . The tarp will do for now , and ,if the weather dries up a bit I will whip out the roof lining and sunroof , just to have a good look before I commit to anything permanent .

    On the freelander sunroof you can disconnect the wiring connector to the motor,it can be got at by removing the light in the roof lining .

    I suppose it would . I got a small bit of silicone on the paintwork years ago ,forgot to wipe it off at the time and there's no budging it now . I'm not so sure it would stick as good to the rubber , even after a scuff with sandpaper .

    My sunroof is leaking . I'm sure the drain pipes are blocked , but I want to seal the gap between the rubber and the painted metal roof . Is there a more suitable sealer than silicone ? I could whip out the roof lining , then the sunroof and blow out the drain pipe but the sunroof dunt work...

    Hippo knows his stuff ,but I would suspect your clutch plate might be on its way out . A clutch has never burned out on me but I would expect to smell burning when nothing happens in go gear .
