Maybe you should just get standard springs if you're not sure about which direction you want to take your car... Then in future you can always replace them again, and pawn off the used standard springs on ebay

We ran tubed tyres in Australia because they are harder to puncture (but harder to repair when they do go flat) than tubeless tyres. Don't think it made much of a difference to the off road ability compared to the Landcruiser troopys my company used, except that they had to repair or replace...
