How do i programme the code in stereo

According to RPi Engineering, who have known the Rangie engines incredibly well over more than 30 years, Sport mode should be used when the Rangie is under load, as when towing, as the additional power from the longer gear changes compensates for the flat area in the torque curve. When I use it...

Thanks John, there are a number of plonkers about who think their own opinions are the only valid ones and that their experience with V8 fuel consumption and a great big heavy foot on the accelerator is the same for every other Rangie owner.......I wouldn't waste my time or energy in posting...

Around 22mpg with my 4.6 Vogue. Would never drive a diesel! Great improvement since fitting magnecor leads and new manifold.

    help urgent please

Wireless networks, wireless doorbells and weather stations and two-way or ham radio equipment can all interfere with the battery and electronics of the P38 and cause peculiar problems, even from neighbours properties. Its possible the RF transmitter or one of the ECUs has become confuddled by a...

    sat nav

Replace with a DVD or TV tuner then. Or have it repaired at an exorbitant price if you can find someone able to do so!!! No quick fixes for those satnavs as far as I am aware!! They were unreliable and failed quite early on.

    sat nav

That generation of satnav never had a good reputation and is ancient technology compared to an 80 quid portable unit of today. A Tomtom One would give far better results and service at a much lower price than trying to fix a knackered RR 2000 early satnav

    Purchasing advice please - TDV8 or 3.0 td6

I don't think most people on this forum are in the league of 56/07 plate RRs.......most folk here have P38s or Classics.......hence the lack of response!!!!

    Insurance

Try Premier Insurance brokers in Consett, Co Durham, they have always given me amazingly competitive prices, to the point that I don't normally bother about confused.com or anyone else anymore - my Rangie's quote (4.6 Vogue, T reg) for 2010, insurance due the same time as yours, is £296. Tel...

    Ambient temp sensor

The HEVAC unit itself may be faulty - sometimes get extreme temp readings with a faulty head unit.

    Looking for comfort!

The Konis improve the comfort and stability greatly - I've just had some fitted and they are much smoother and more comfortable than the original shocks...plus of course, the wheels and tyres....P38s are really fussy about tyres and pressures....

    Feels like a different car!!

I don't hate LPG, I just belong to the school of thought that believes that the original 4.6 V8 which tends to run hot anyway, has a poor tolerance, with the original block, for even higher temps and that block failure / liners slipping will happen more readily or sooner than if there was no gas...

    Feels like a different car!!

I retrieved all the bits of the mirror housing and glued them back, its working fine and I will eventually find another housing I hope, its only cosmetic but would be nice. Norfolk police are on the case in their own (Norfolk) time so it is grinding on. Hope we get the sod in the end. No time...

    Feels like a different car!!

My Rangie handles like a rocket since having a mini-makeover yesterday :D- Konis on all 4 corners and Magnecor leads. Wouldn't have thought it could make such a massive difference to the performance and handling, but it certainly has.:) Highly recommended, but not cheap. Then, nothing about...

    Took the plunge....

Thanks Irish, I will take you up on that!! Waiting frustratingly, for a serial / USB convertor - was going to use a Panasonic Toughbook to load up the software but as its running Win 98 the lack of drivers for all the USB bits and the ethernet cardbus card, was just too much hassle in the end...

yep, it happened to me... battery draining overnight... help!

Could be a bad earth connection....or the battery is not absolutely 100%.....these cars are extremely sensitive to a battery with even the most miniscule problem - it has to be perfect for a P38!!!! The drain was likely due to the RF Transmitter picking up local signals from wireless routers /...
