Rule of thumb when you a Landy has a crashy ride is to run comfort tyres pressures, then if you're still not happy replace the dampers, on a live axle they are crucial to ride comfort - and regular oil ones too - nothing fancy like yellow* heavy duty gas jobs. *any yellow aftermarket part...

I suppose yer talking about high cetane diesel using GTL addatives..like BP Ultra or the Shell VPower stuff. In a disco? Don't bother. In a higher tooned high pressure CR engine the faster flame front does make a difference - and washes whiter too apparantly...:p
