Is there any advantage in running on (high octane)
diesel my old dad swears by it but I'm not convinced the disco is of a high enough tune to benifit.
any thoughts?

?? WTF you on about high octane diesel? You need to be a bit more explicit.

I suppose yer talking about high cetane diesel using GTL addatives..like BP Ultra or the Shell VPower stuff.

In a disco? Don't bother. In a higher tooned high pressure CR engine the faster flame front does make a difference - and washes whiter too apparantly...

thats the stuff ! BP Ultra and thats what I thought about tuned engines -
Go faster rep mobiles ,beemers etc.

Right ... I must be blind as I'd never noticed, just pull in and fill up ... if I haven't found anything else to run it on!
