The radiator being two foot from the fan annoys me to start with. I’m somewhere between putting the S3 recessed nose back in and the correct radiator, or fitting an electric fan. Then there is the defender doors, in really good condition. I’ll work it out.

That’s all I’m asking. I have acquired a 109” with a pseudo S1 front end, 2.25 diesel engine, and full width defender radiator. I’m torn between putting it back to stock or maybe just using it as is. The underneath is solid and has many new parts, it’s the frock that needs sprucing up.

I’m not linking this for any other reason than to understand when a 3 becomes a bitsa. New bulkhead? Defender bonnet hinges, Defender front grill? I’m trying to understand if this offends the puritans or whether there is a place in the market. Is it worth less etc? Link
