just did my pump and I seem to member its just a threaded union on one ( no O ring ) and a jubillie clip on the other. You sure its not leaking from the reseviour joints and seeping down ?

now thats interesting as it shows fitting spacers to the front edge of the drip tray to lower it... thats a good idea as if you park facing up a hill the tray fills up as the outlets are on the front edge

did the same.. spent loads of time **** arseing about with duct tape and sealer but eventually bit the bullet and dropped the headlining and took them out/cleaned/resealed. Wish I'd done it in the 1st place

hydrogen fuel cells do work and do have some benefits, you can make them yourself. but you'd need so many to make any real difference, that unit makes under 2 litres a minute.. now think about how much air is drawn into a 2.5 engine in the same minute, the hydrogen would be at such low volumes.

morning folks, I've got a shiney new power steering pump to fit today but I've a couple of questions if i may. In the haynes manual it says I need to get under the car and have it on axle stands to remove the pump, do I really or can i do it all from above. Also I'd like to replace all the fluid...

where do drain tubes come detached ? Outside of unit tray ? yep, they attach to tubes at the front corner of the tray do I need to remove trays completely from outside ? I took the whole sunroof out, bit of a faf but mine were leaking from the seal where the sunroof meets the car roof do I need...

yeah i drove it yesterday and it's no fun, was only a short distance on very very quiet counrty lanes but I wont be doing it again till its fixed..

so.. anyone know.. will i break something using the disco with a bust power steering pump ? ta

will i do any damage to anything ( other than my arms ) driving it without power steering ?

Evening Folks, I think I know the answer but if my power steering suddenly 'stops' ( it was a little low on fluid ) and there's now drop in revs when steering can I assume the pumps gone west or is there something else I should be checking.. Ta.
