What did you do with your Range Rover today

Some Bas**** in a van was incapable of sticking to his own side of the road and clipped my wing mirror smashing the outer housing. Wan*er! Will have to try and glue it back together for now and try and locate a replacement housing. Useless cretin sped off!

This is brilliant. Thank you so much for this. I'll let you know how I get on. Nick

Does anyone use their P38 Offroad

No - one of the wonderful things that I enjoy about greenlaning/off roading in a RR is how comfortable it is. I have been out in the middle of winter with people in 110's and series LR's - and they are wearing coats and scarves and gloves and wellies with liners because the heaters are...

Welcome to the forum. Hope you don’t mind a bit of ribbing from time to time?

I’m with Kermit, was going to make an identical post. I use a bit of copper wire wedged between the battery terminal and the clip to ensure good contact as no matter how much I tighten the clip it does not grip any better.

I noticed that after this particular expedition. I did get water in the air filter and some even made it into the pipe to the air intake manifold. Up until then I was labouring under the misapprehension, courtesy of some ill informed muppet that told me, the air intake was through the grill at...

I did - are they on here? We can resurrect them - its bound to be good for a laugh for a whole new slew of more recent members!

Ooh, what did Mark do? Did water get a bit beyond the air filter?

Forgot to mention that although I don't have a diff' guard, and not missed one - though that might be due to the terrain I typically drive - I do have rock sliders and they have been invaluable! Highly recommend them.

Can't believe I did this deep without a snorkel - lucky escape, definitely got water in the air filter on this one.

    P38A Radiator Woes

Ah - a perfect radiator. Good question, but the old one wasn't black either - just dull grey, and in my case, quite a lot of brown!

Thank you Sir. I had exactly that issue - a bit of being with a hammer/chisel - and some gentle persuasion with a rubber mallet worked a treat.

It is thicker, and much shinier, and no plastic - and not expensive. £189.99 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351987760994

Definitely still on air - many regular subscribers to this forum will have seen years worth of EAS woes posted by me, although I can't believe I'm saying this - all seems OK at the moment!

    P38A Radiator Woes

Here is the new rad - and I did it all by myself... which as regular readers know I always have to distinguish between 'I' when I really mean the Royal 'We' - meaning someone else did it - and 'I' when I mean I actually did something myself! Had to do a bit of jiggery pokery on the locating...

Well, thanks for the above. @Grrrrrr is right, but i’m struggling with cooling anyway, even when not gunged with mud, so I bought it, and i’m just about to try and fit it. wish me luck.
