I’m with Kermit, was going to make an identical post. I use a bit of copper wire wedged between the battery terminal and the clip to ensure good contact as no matter how much I tighten the clip it does not grip any better.

I noticed that after this particular expedition. I did get water in the air filter and some even made it into the pipe to the air intake manifold. Up until then I was labouring under the misapprehension, courtesy of some ill informed muppet that told me, the air intake was through the grill at...

Forgot to mention that although I don't have a diff' guard, and not missed one - though that might be due to the terrain I typically drive - I do have rock sliders and they have been invaluable! Highly recommend them.

Definitely still on air - many regular subscribers to this forum will have seen years worth of EAS woes posted by me, although I can't believe I'm saying this - all seems OK at the moment!

Here is the new rad - and I did it all by myself... which as regular readers know I always have to distinguish between 'I' when I really mean the Royal 'We' - meaning someone else did it - and 'I' when I mean I actually did something myself! Had to do a bit of jiggery pokery on the locating...
