Freelander 1 [SOLVED] External Temperature Reading

Hopefully I'll have good news for us on Sunday Not a silly question, I'll be asking it myself if all goes well - just not appropriate for where it's up to right now. Once the reading shows on the LCD screen then it'll be plain to see whether it's working or not. It's now been verified that...

Freelander 1 [SOLVED] External Temperature Reading

Throughout this entire thread there's been a truth that hasn't been quite as emphasised enough as it should: that we know one person has succeeded at this. So this Sunday I'll get a chance to work this out once and for all with the man himself.

Freelander 1 [SOLVED] External Temperature Reading

That's exactly it I've just discovered that RDS v6.0 is the underlying T4 software that runs the contents of the vehicle CDs, and it needs to be a combination of that and the more recent Land Rover CD to get things to communicate properly. The garage is unlikely to want to update their...

Freelander 1 [SOLVED] External Temperature Reading

Recent discussions have revitalised this a little bit. Firstly I asserted early on that -30°C would show as a placeholder in the IPK when the option was enabled, this is now confirmed to be true and not getting a result will be an issue in the rewrite. Secondly it's been said that there are...

    Freelander 1 Navigation Date

I don't suppose you mean this one? Sadly it skips over the date and only mentions the time

    Freelander 1 Navigation Date

Me again.. sorry.. I'd consulted the Navigation handbook first but it seems to completely skip any notion of setting the date for the radio which seems to be stuck in 2000. I was able to progress the time by 12 hours and it went to the next day but no further; does anyone know of a way to set...

    Freelander vote

If I was in a warmer climate like Spain, I'd opt for the FL1; the retractable tailgate window is indispensable when the sun decides to throw a party and is one of the most fun things you can have

Where does your td4 idle when cold started?

Cold or warm, 750rpm I find you can make it dip slightly if you try to move the front two windows at the same time

It's a couple of modules you add in behind the stereo which let you communicate with bluetooth. You have to wire it in yourself to the back of the stereo and as part of the ignition and then it just starts up whenever you turn the key. You'll also have to find a way to thread the bluetooth...
