ok how easy is it to change? looking at rave i need to remove the fan and require LR specific tools to do it

Hi all seem to have a high pitched squeal when accelerating, goes away if coasting so don't think its a wheel bearing issue, but no real idea what it could be, any pointers appreciated, not had it long, 51 plate with 170k on clock, done the first auto oil / filter change, next oil change due...

JMTPW - I'd buy some new bleed nipples and a good pair of mole grips and go with the above, obviously changing the nipples so its easier next time:D

Ok so I got 5 litres out, managed to get 3 litres back in before overflow, started up and cycled through the gears, took plug out and still overflowing. So do I need to fill with engine running of should it all go back into box and allow more in after cycling through the gears?

Takes me back a few years used to make our own gaskets, for steam pipe connections, with a ball pane hammer, sheet gasket and the flange to be joined, and then add a load of gunky compound - to ensure it sealed ahh the good ole days:rolleyes:

went all out and invested in 1 of these http://www.wilko.com/hose-pipes-sprinklers+spray-guns/wilko-water-sprayer-5l/invt/0338924 dropped the oil, and removed the sump magnet had a load of gunge on it but nothing scary. see pics below. cleaned sump and replaced filter, back on awaiting a...
