Tyres - Winter on the way

Great minds and all that...:tea: Getting back to the Grabbers, here's a link to their data sheet: Grabber AT2 Data PDF I will say one thing, don't worry about their 60,000 mile warranty, I've done well over that and they are still over the half-way mark. As for off-roading, I don't do any off...

Tyres - Winter on the way

General Grabber AT2's. I've been using them for 6 years now and I can not fault them in any way. Great on the road, dry or wet, snow, sand and even mud. Not much noise with them either.

    Winch power usage?

Thanks chaps. So, in simple terms, as long as I keep the beast running as and if I use a winch like that I should be ok. Great;)

v8hotrodboy Great looking steering wheel! May I ask you where you got it from as mine is very much past it's sell by date.

    Winch power usage?

Hi all, Just a quick question. I'm no electrical wiz-kid, so, can you use a winch with the following ratings if you have a battery with these ratings? Battery: 12 v - 130 AH - 1,000 CCA. Winch: Line Pull - 0Lbs, Amp Draw 12 v - 100 Line Pull - 4,000Lbs, Amp Draw 12 v - 220 Line...

    Just lost all the water!

Well, one shiny new water pump is on it's way. Thanks for all the help. Will up-date once she's back on the road ok.

    Just lost all the water!

The rad was fitted 3 years ago. As for the water pump, well we have had her since 2005 and we have not fitted any new one since then and I do not think that one had be fitted before (she was 6 years old when we had her) Now for a proper up-date as only today have I been able to get out. I...

    Just lost all the water!

It started to "heat" up 3 mins before stopping. As for mileage, 198,200 (miles). Nope, she has never over heated, in fact she's been ruddy great in that department.

    Just lost all the water!

Yeah, if it is not a hose come loose, I hope it is just the pump gone. Checked out the prices already and not so bad for a new one over here, €41.00 + P&P (well at least not so bad for Portugal, usually they rip you off over here!)

    Just lost all the water!

Nope, not that. I had enough light to check out the upper reaches. What's more the rad I have is only 3 years old, the old one blow it's head. Also, I could not see nor feel any leaks on the hoses coming from the top of the rad which makes me think that the leak is coming from somewhere below...

    Just lost all the water!

As it was not into the red and the cap I have seems to have a safety valve I was and am ok. Anyway, neither of those remarks are of much use are they, horses and stable doors and all that.

    Just lost all the water!

Hi there, Just getting back home just now and noticed the temp running a tad higher than norm. Stopped at a local shop to get something and could not see anything leaking from below, but when I parked up at home the temp was even higher as I turned it off. I popped the bonnet and straight away...

    Snorkel for P38!

    CB Antenna Fitting?

Now I have got the antenna side sorted, I have just one simple question. I'm not too versed when it comes to the electrical side of things, so, how would one wire up to the battery? I know there are other ways, ie into the fuse box, via the CD/radio or by using the lighter attachment (it's a...

    CB Antenna Fitting?

Great minds and all that. That was what I was hoping to do but wasn't to sure. I'll run it down the right hand side so that it comes out near the glove box and away from the steering/instrument panel. I should then be able to wiggle it through to the radio's location where I want it to connect...

    CB Antenna Fitting?

Thanks to those who have found that the roof is in fact steel. Nik, sad would be those who think you sad for doing what you did. LoL MrGorsky, (kicking myself here) I only just had the ruddy head lining re-done! Mind you, before having it done I had had a good look around the the sunroof...
