    EAS Software

Glad to be of help. BTW, as I mentioned in the e-mail I just sent you, could there be a back door or something like that with their Bluetooth. Never know, you could piggy-back the system. (or is that a bit of wishful thinking?)

Hi Storey, Couldn't you fit some sort of Bluetooth adapter to your EAS Buddy? (just an idea)

    Thermostat on the blink?

The water pump is ok. As for a stuck thermo stuck shut not stopping the cab heating, doesn't the cab heating system work off the warm/hot water from the engine? If so, if there is no flow (due to the knackered thermo), wont that mean no cab heater? As for the rad, cool on top. I didn't check...

Hey JohnnyCrash, what's the latest with this idea? Did you manage to get anywhere with it all?

    Thermostat on the blink?

On mine last night the hose coming from the block to the rad was hissing at it's join to the block, but it was not at all hot in it's middle and all the way from there to the rad itself. Also it was "soft" or easy to squeeze, no pressure at all. On the other end, by that I mean the plastic...

    Thermostat on the blink?

And I can put it back together without a thermostat in place?

    Thermostat on the blink?

Can I remove the thermostat without replacing it? (Everywhere is closed now until Friday) By that I mean will I be able to refit the pipe to the block without a thermostat in place, or does the thermostat need to be in place for the joining/fitting of the pipe to the block?

    Thermostat on the blink?

In my case it is over heating! Could it still be the thermostat?

    Thermostat on the blink?

What would be the symptoms one a 2.5 DSE if the thermostat was on the blink?

    Ruddy fuel pump again!

Well it's the ruddy last time I get a poxy Britpart one. Going to have fun in a bit with the guys I bought it from as I am going to be mentioning the 2 year warranty they are supposed to have and as I bought it on the 22 April 2012.

    Ruddy fuel pump again!

Less than two years old and tonight it looks like it went again! Apart from the dreaded Britpart ones (this one is one of theirs!) what other make can be trusted? Is Bearmach any good?

A friend of mine has a P38 (1999) and he would like to know if it should have T/C or not?

    Pressure constantly high

It looks like my friend has sorted it. He removed it then washed it out, put it back in and the problems it was having seemed to have gone away. Thanks for all the help.

    Pressure constantly high

If it's a restricted exhaust silencer, is it fixable or is it a case of having to buy a new one?

    P38orn

That's a nice bumper on that Turkish P38, I wouldn't mind finding out where the owner got that.

    P38 Off-Road Equipment

The air intake on a 2.5DSE does not sit above the engine, it is located roughly half way down the front wing. BTW lets get :focus:

Tyres - Winter on the way

AT2 no longer available? Says who? Just been speaking to General's chaps in the US and they told me that they are still being manufactured and that they will still be available for the foreseeable future in the UK.

What mileage is your Range Rover P38 on? (1994 to 2002)

Mine's 196,000. Great on oil, water not too bad, a bit of a noise from the front diff, but hopefully going to swap it out for a ATB soon (rear one too). Still drives great and not too bad on the MPG.
