if the master cylinder naffed would a disco 300 tdi one dit on my 90 200tdi?

yeah ive also heard of this dr pepper alot of people opt for the corsa column as you dont need to take alot off to change much over and you just need to wire the little black box on the column in but im not saying that that moving the front crossmember isnt a dvla issue im just saying i know...

yeah the fluid levels fine admitedly i have let the rear brakes run down to next to nothing do you think this could have contributed to the problem

hi my brakes on my 90 have stopped working the pedals going straight down without really doin much i havent touched the brakes recently so i dont think they need bleeding i just wondered if theres a common problem or anything like that

you have to cut away the outer part of the sill just done them on my mates 200 tdi and 3.2mm wall is thick enough for a tree/rock slider and 7 metres cost around £30 i mean do you plan on dropping ur disco 10 metres onto a rock?

the 2.5 n/a isnt that good on mpg mate

my father in law put an isuzu engine in his 2a but id go with a 200tdi unless you wanted to go with the 300 tdi as im going to be selling one soon

5mm wall sounds a bit heavy duty could you have gone with 3.2 wall to keep the price down

on the forums a few people opt for moving the crossmember forward but none of tehm speak of taking it for a check with the dvla im guessing they do it on the sly?

yeh hes based in newark he did give him a call and i think he quoted him £1200 but he doesnt really have that to spend it sounds alot cheaper using all land rover parts and doing it yourself plus we enjoy a challenge :-)

nice one im enquiring for my father in law as he still does some green laning and pay and play in his s11a you say you used a v8 and took the steering over but i think hes running a 3.0 n/a isuzu or nissan engine would this make a difference is there a website or another forum with a full walk...

kyle i just managed to get 5 bf all terrains for 70 quid! its deffo worth it mate as im wearing down my bf mud terrains on the road and ive been quoted like 130 per tyre at trade price

my defender has loads of play in the steering and i would imagine yours is a 4 bolt like mine

does anyone have a list of the parts required for this conversion then with the source of the parts i.e which land rover they come off??

yeh well i think my friends interested in the cage as he doesnt do any laning or pay and plays he just uses his as a daily driver so i think im going build and internal one in the back and fasten directly to the chassis
