Disco 2 Back to two down.... Air suspension.

All too hopeful... Pump not working now regardless of height sensors. Have bitten the bullet and ordered a brand new pump to eliminate one area completely.

Disco 2 Back to two down.... Air suspension.

Been out on a test drive and no problems with the suspension dropping, Obviously the pump works and the bags don't leak so I'm now hoping its just the valve block, if not its the electronikery slab behind the glove box - I hear that's a real pig to get to..l

Disco 2 Back to two down.... Air suspension.

Back to normal suspension height and no problems whilst standing in the barn. I reckon its a valve problem but I wont get out until tomorrow as we've had incredible storms.

Disco 2 Back to two down.... Air suspension.

Maybe so, but As ever I'm in the middle of nowhere without a code reader - next thing on the Xmas list. The suspension will rise again after I jack up the rear, and it stays up until I drive away. I'm guessing it's the valve block, but not too sure yet...

Disco 2 Back to two down.... Air suspension.

I've already changed the air bags, the compressor and both suspension struts. Been OK until two days ago. However, I've just taken for a test and within 100m the amber warning light comes up on the dash - will have to investigate further...

Disco 2 Back to two down.... Air suspension.

Looks like I have only two dead Landys now as the TD5 suspension is working again....:) However, it could be an intermitent problem as the suspension dropped completey the other day. Checked the pump, wd40d the connections, jacked the car up at the rear end and all is well again? Used the...

    Ha, ha, ha...three dead Landys

Must be something as I'm clearly on a lucky streak: Tdi No 1: Took it off the road and used for spares these last few months Td5: after getting everything fixed the suspension pimp went again yesterday Tdi No2: radiator plug blew out an hour ago. Lucky the weather is good as I'm 'slumming it...

    Rear wiper not stopping?

Could be, but the lock hasn't been working for the same amount of time... I got lazy

    Rear wiper not stopping?

Just an update.... It could be that the problem was linked to the passenger door lock - Mine wasn't locking, but not unlocking with the remote fob. Now I've changed the door lock the rear wiper is working as normal? Bizzare!

Disco 2 London to Stresa, Italy

If you are confident in the reliability of the Disco, no problem driving. However, the driving needs to be 'part of' the holiday to make it worthwhile . It's a team decision, maybe ask the others if they want to spend a few days looking out the window?

Freelander 2 (LR2) Sat Nav update 2006 model

Hi all, can anyone advise me on the built in Sat Nav for a 2006 model? Is the software and maps automatically updated or do you have to buy them? Is it as user-friendly/good as the TomTom?
