    Security Devices

Another way is to have an underground bunker-drive in with a ceiling so low the HiAb couldn't get the height clearance. Granted that's no really doable for most of us on here, but a garage with a similar configuration, alarms and an armed owner nearby would soon see the HiAb away with noise...

    So ****ed off

We should be able to violently stop thieves without risking prosecution, alas the dippy liberal judges hate car / home-owners having their own power so the thieves keep on taking the ****! :(

Just thought I'd keep you all upto date!!!!

Don't be such a pussy! Your attitude is partly why people are such a soft touch in Britain! FFS they aren't Ronnie or Reggie Kray you know or the mafia! The authorities are good for paper chasing and clean-up after the crimes done not before or during!

    110 Defender nicked in Norfolk

+1 This guy knows what he's talking about. Get the insurance to try and cover it is all I can suggest... May I also suggest a decent steering shield: http://www.disklokuk.co.uk/products.html http://www.festive-lights.com/disklok/full-cover-large-silver-car-security-disklok.html

Defender 110 Utility stolen from Dronfield

Not heard of that one before. But I guess it would only work if they bring a low-loader / Hi AB. A way round that is to park on full steering lock (wheelswise), that way it won't go straight forwards or backwards. (won't stop a Hi Ab, but there you go). The hefty chain could of been frozen...

Diesel Runaway? Anyone had it happen?

Just wondering if and how people get this happening to their lannie. I've seen one comment on Youtube claiming a landrover engine withstood it buy draining the sump dry. Do people carry expanding foam / fire extinguisher to block off the intake? Which Fire extinguisher is best to use? I'd not...

    New Defender (O Dear...)

Ok this is what the Marxatrons at the BBC say on that link: """Land Rover insists its next Defender will be a rugged workhorse, having ruled out moving it upmarket as a luxurious car that simply looks butch on the outside," says BBC business reporter Jorn Madslien. "But competing in the market...

Crap! What makes you even think such ****e man!? Landrover has been made on the defender brand! There wouldn't even be a range-rover if it wasn't for the defender!

Land Rover is to build airliners

They should get working on flying landrovers first! :D If they can get 3 tonne 90s and 110s airbourne and flying around I'll believe them, until then, no way! :)
  17. BuzzLand

what ya think of the new defender then?

What do I think of it? Complete and utter clump! Made for girly-types who want a pocket Range Rover or Gaylander clone!

A week of exploring and camping North Wales

In Eire, Wales and Scotland there are no 'trespass' statutes. For fires I just use camping stoves and gas. No mess that way. If you want to practise your skills do it away from your camp area :)

Would you drive one of these?

I served in Germany and apart from a few pro-right wing areas (not many these days), the German's are ultra libertards in general. Being pro-anything but Germany is the new black there so driving those would be easier than downtown Brixton :D
