I have a printout of the last codes. Have checked the earth's that I could get to and cleaned up. Changed every bulb at the back of the car plus new brake and speed sensors

I guess if I can find out why the terrain fault happens and fix it I'll not get the fuel gauge limp mode fault. Looking at the prev history it's had a ecu change. I was a bit dubious of this as the garage bill was only £650 Inc a cam sensor. Maybe it's a dodgy ecu...

See post has turned into a soldering debate lol! Bcm looks good, although it's a two layer pcb component and you can't see everything. Used a magnifying glass and covered what I could see. I know I've probably shouldn't unplugged sensors as part of troubleshooting but I still don't understand...

    Map sensor

There's one area I need to revisit. When inspecting the wiring harness in passenger footwell I unclipped the harness checking for exposed wires all seemed ok but when I started here up and moved the harness left to right the fault kicked in. I should look at that again as at the time I thought...

Yes main dealer said fuel sender B so I had both changed by an indyv as it was cheapee but fault still there

Point taken But I've already spent 1k on repairs by listening to experts.... Will be getting an auto electrician soon as a last ditch attempt to fix it......

    Map sensor

Read somewhere that a faulty MAP sensor can give a terrain fault. Not got a scanner but have had codes read several times by a local indy. On a budget so can't afford a scanner at this moment in time. I know unplugging sensors is not the right way to diagnose but by unplugging the map it gave me...

Ok thought ide start a nes thread as old one was exhausted. Trying to trace a fault on my fl2 td4 Fault being terrain response faulty followed by fuel gauge drop. Normally happens after driving 4 to 10 miles on average. Been checking alsorts on the car but if I unplug the MAP sensor and start...

    Weird stuff going on

Inside the bcm. There are 2 pcbs. The one that carries the fuses looks a bit more heavy duty with fuel pump relay and possibly regulaters.

    Weird stuff going on

A lot of pedals appear to use 5v but I need to find out for sure. So maybe another fault needs to be looked into.

    Weird stuff going on

Okay all the fuses on the bcm are 12 volts so am I right in saying it's either losing volts through the bcm or there's damage to the loom?

    Weird stuff going on

I'l give it a test with engine running. What do you think about maybe replacing the fuse box. I guess if I get a good second hand one I've not wasted too much money. I can test some voltages at the fuses on the bcm And it looks like it' all feed from engine fuse box some on relays.

    Weird stuff going on

Could be that the fuel pump relay is open or knackerd. The live and ground go to the middle 2 pins I've got 0 volts at the positie Brown and yellow. Tried grounding on the chassis still nothing. Would the relay work if the voltage is low?

    0v at fuel tank interesting

    Weird stuff going on

Trying to find where it comes from but it' more than likely the engine bay fuse box. Maybe there's some corrosion there. I'm going to check the voltage at the in tank fuel pump see what' there. I might just be a bunch of supply voltage problems......
