Brought my high miler 2002 facelift ES for half that and apart from a watts linkage an engine oil leek and leaky roof it's been great. Hope to double my money in the autumn. ;). Lol

Its easy once the panel is out, just 1 bulb. Mine did the same.

Got the side rubbing strips and the hole in the roof for satnav airial. Other bits I've seen, like the thicker roof rails.

Main difference is the interior. If your not bothered about it being old fashioned and possibly an odd colour like blue then no worry.

So in my facelift ES apart from the optional rear aircon what else was optional? It seems to have everything, aircon, roofs, heated seats, dimming mirror with compas, armrests, cruise, leather, steps,

I have a facelift TD5 with the reverse lights in the bumper and they do not work. I've checked the bulbs and fuses (the share the same fuse as brake lights apparently and they are fine) and the R comes up on the dash (it's an Auto) with no warning lights. I would like to get them working...

I know what you mean and I will do it but as it's done 170k ok so far and the switch seem to have cured the flicker and the pressure seems strong I will risk another 3000 miles. I serviced it about 3000 miles ago and the plan is to service it every 6000 miles. At the cost of fully synthetic...

I have not checked that simply as I wanted to eliminate the easy bits before jumping in with sump removal on its next service I will put some extra time aside and check it.
