Yes because the Freelander 2 u get the really dated interior especially if it had sat nav whereas a 1 has a nice retro interior

You are right you can't go wrong with a freelander but I find them interesting but I wouldn't buy one

I am aware but I shall be moving out of London due to university so that's something that won't worry me and my house isn't in the boundaries of the LEZ

If it works though and maybe due to its usage means a waste pipe is stronger than a hoover pipe

Personally if u have the money maybe invest in a new winch from superwinch as they obviously do a quality product

As for me the 4 cylinder series 3 though aesthetically excellent doesn't do it for me engine wise, I don't like diesels, the stage one v8 for me looses the series 3 aesthetic as stage one v8 look similar to what became the defender, the six is abit different and u maintain that series 3 aesthetic

I don't have one yet I'm basically learning to drive and saving up for one, if i was buying one it would be a series 3 109 station wagon with the petrol six cylinder

I hope this go successful as this is a land that's had a hard life and u r giving life to it again

Ik this is sad but after 50 years reliable service to the land rover community however they deserve a lovely retirement

This project looks good and your skills are obviously good

Tbh in my opinion the best looking land rovers are ones that are scruffy but well maintained. So they have scruffy paint but they don't have rotted chassis

I agree with u as jeeps for me are for people who have never seen a Land Rover

But its nice to see a old landy with scuffs as it shows its been used properly and people have had fun
